This is a class that will be discussing the history of scripture, beginning with the assumptions regarding the works of Moshe; the additional writings; the work of Ezra; leading to the creation of the Septuagint and Origen’s Hexapla; the creation of the Dead Sea Scrolls; the Ethiopian Bible and its substance; the work of Eusebius (Jerome) including the gospels according to the Hebrews; and the various Codex manuscripts; the Nag Hammadi writings; the pseudepigraphal books and their implications; the creation of the Talmud, Gamarra, and the Mishnah; the development of the Babylonian Talmud; the Canonization of Martin Luther; the Council of Trent; the creation of the complete English Text (the Great Bible); the King James rules of translation; the Westminster Confession; Westcott & Hort and the Codex Sinaiticus, and the development of the Cepher.
