Otiot is the Hebrew word for letters. One letter is called an OT pronounced oat. OT means sign. Multiple letters are referred to as the Otiot which is plural and means “signs”. During this class we will examine the letters starting in the center and working our way to the outside of the Aleph Beit.

Yahuah has designed the Hebrew so that every word can be broken down to it’s two or three letter root.  The meaning of the word can be seen in the meanings of the letters that form the word. To understand this we will have a vocabulary section in each class to help build up our word bank knowledge.

What we call the aleph beit consists of the 22 letters that Yahuah used to sing the universe into existence. The Aleph Tav are the first and last letters of the Hebrew alphabet. The word mystery appears 22 times in the Brit Hadasshah and the word mysteries appears 5 times in the Brit Hadasshah. We will enjoy a class project as we study the passage and see if we are able to find connections between the letter meaning and the mystery presented.

Eventually we will work our way through the book of Zephaniah to examine specific word themes and their relationship to other passages in scripture to see if the context of those scriptures gives us a double or triple witness to establish the Paleo Word Picture meaning. It is my goal to communicate study habits that are conducive to mining for treasure in the scriptures.
